KN. Creative Economy Minister and Creative Economy Agency Chief Teuku Riefky Harsya met with Indonesian Ambassador to the United States Dwisuryo Indroyono Soesilo at the Ministry of Creative Economy office in Jakarta to discuss follow-up to the Indonesia-U.S. Comprehensive Strategic Partnership 2024-2028 and preparations and collaboration opportunities for the 2026 World Conference on Creative Economy (WCCE).
Teuku Riefky said the ministry remains fully open to cooperation with U.S. partners across creative economy subsectors, with its directorates ready to support concrete implementation of the partnership, which was signed in 2023 and includes an action plan covering areas such as the creative economy.
The potential of the U.S. market is also reflected in the performance of Indonesia’s creative economy exports. Based on Statistics Indonesia (BPS) data processed by the Creative Economy Ministry for the January–April 2026 period, the United States was the leading destination for Indonesian creative economy product exports, with a value reaching $3.31 billion.
