KN. Asian Development Bank (ADB) Chief Economist Albert Park has downgraded Indonesia’s economic growth forecast for this year to 4.9 percent, slightly lower than the 5.0 percent projected in April 2025. For 2026, the forecast was also revised down from 5.1 percent to 5.0 percent. ADB noted that Southeast Asia experienced the sharpest downward revisions to growth projections, driven by weakening global demand and rising trade uncertainties.
