KN. Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa said that he has ordered 200 major taxpayers to settle a total of Rp 60 trillion in outstanding taxes within one week. He warned that those who fail to comply will face serious legal and administrative consequences, saying non-payment could make it “difficult to live” in Indonesia. Purbaya stressed that the government will no longer tolerate delays in tax obligations, marking a tougher stance against chronic defaulters.
