KN. Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa said that the weakening of the rupiah against the U.S. dollar has not yet had a significant impact on the national economy. He stated that the government had already anticipated rupiah depreciation when formulating the state budget, making the current exchange rate weakness still manageable and within controllable limits. He expressed optimism that the rupiah exchange rate will recover soon, in line with improving global geopolitical conditions. Purbaya explained that the current conflict involving the United States, Iran, and Israel shows positive signals toward a peace agreement. He believes the prospect of resolving these global conflicts could materialize within the next two to three months, supporting a stronger rupiah outlook.
